What is Rolling Fork Farm’s Organic CSA?
Families and individuals in central Kentucky can become members of our CSA farm share program. Once you join, you pick up your fresh organically grown produce each week from either the farm or our convenient meeting spot in Danville.
In all, our CSA goes for 20 weeks or 5 full months of fresh certified organic produce on your table. We grow 40 to 50 types of vegetables on the farm for our CSA members, and we try to include as much variety in your basket as possible. Each week our goal is to have about 8 different types of produce available for the members. Often, in the fullness of the season, we offer some additional choice between the many kinds of vegetables.
Our spring CSA season begins mid May. The first ten weeks of the spring/summer begin with lots of spinach, our unique spring salad mixes, baby beets and super sweet carrots, and more..as the season warms, tomatoes, basil and crisp cuccumbers come in... All summer produce pours from the fields and to your basket!
We take a one month break from the summer heat in August then the Summer/Fall season begins in earnest right through October and into early Novermber.
Sign on for the spring season with us, then in August you have the option of joining us for another 10 weeks of bountiful late summer and fall harvest.
